Hello everyone!

I’m going to talk about how to use your spare-time productively

To begin with is how to balance school life and life as a busy student

I know you’ve heard this all before, but having some sort of planning system is essential to managing your time and getting the most done. I always recommend getting a paper planner because there’s something about writing things down that makes you more likely to do them. However, if you prefer a digital planner so you can access it on your phone anytime, I recommend using Google Calendar. It is very useful because it is connected to the Wi-Fi and it display other aspects like for example the weather. Beside that you can set how many times you want to be notified and you will be also getting a message on every device where you are logged in. So, you don’t miss out the meeting

I also recommend to use your device only for important things. Because there some apps like social media ones that can kill your time and make you addicted to it.

If you’re like me, you try to take on everything that’s presented to you despite knowing that it’s too much to handle. Saying no is an important skill for time management and your overall sanity. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice one thing for another or learn to put your mental health first.

By having a schedule, you know just how much you have on your plate and whether or not you can add to it. If you’re invited out by friends, you can quickly let them know when you’re free. You might need to skip that meeting in order to get your priorities done.

Don’t feel bad for saying no. You might disappoint someone or yourself at the moment, but that feeling will quickly pass. You’ll be happy you gave yourself the time to work on what was more important.

Now let’s move to the aspect creating beneficially habits.

Like I mentioned before getting a planner is essential. But a habit that is good is to make a to do list every morning. There can be your personal tasks, your academics tasks etc. With that you don’t have to remember what you have to do next and when you are finished you can relax for the rest of the day without feeling guilty.

Additionally, you can set goals they can be long term goal or small term. It is good because you have a specific goal to work towards and the goals can challenge you into being more productive

Another habit is to do some type brain training activity before you start studying or working for the day. You feel more focused afterwards and you’ll train problem solving skills that leads to a more productive study /work session. You can do crosswords, puzzles or sudoku. There a some brain activities apps on the internet too. But the good ones are most probably chargeable. I recommend to look for free websites for brain activities.

The last habit I’m going to mention is to learn something every day. I don’t mean learning like a new skill. Just taking some time to do something educational that is not related to school is very beneficial in life. For example buying an educational book, you read a chapter of it or a few pages. But if you are not into reading then you can look up educational videos on YouTube. There are thousands of videos in different languages and they cover a wide variety of topics. Or if you are more into listening then you can search for audiobooks on Spotify

How to use your leisure time productively

Each one of us in life we tend to create some leisure time in a day and quite often we spend our free time chatting with friends and families. Sometimes we spend our time watching interesting programs on TV. You may also choose to play, read, or fulfill your other hobbies and interests. While you do all such activities, you should feel the excitement of you doing them in a productive manner. Making the right use of your time cannot only be interesting but also be very satisfying if you can be a little more creative to come out with great productive ideas.

You are how you spend your time, how you use your time shapes you as a given number of hours spent challenging yourself in a given area molds you into an expert.

The following are some of the ways you can use to spend your leisure time productively

Plan your important goals

Use your free time when you are relaxed to think and plan your mission and goals in life. You have to ask yourself the reasons for your existence. This is the time when you are usually in the best mood set to review your goals.

Share your hobbies and interests with others

It is also possible to use your free time productively and earn some money. You can use your hobbies and interests you are skilled at to earn some extra income. For example if you know the skills of football, then you can coach a youth team during your free time for free or at a fee. Many parents want their children engaged in some sort of activity.

Work on your hobby to perfection

Use the free time to work on your hobby to perfection. It is quite perfect to uplift your hobby to a professional level. After perfecting your hobby then you are at liberty to share it with others.

Revisit your network

Use your free time to revisit your network of your friends who will be more supportive during your journey of life. The network must be made of friends who are value adding and not those who just want to waste your time. Specifically seek those friends who you can learn from and lead you to know what you do not know. Use your leisure time to improve your social media. Share your knowledge with others and for sure others will share their knowledge with you.
