Scalar quantities are physical quantities with no direction on magnitude
Vector quantities are quantities with magnitude + direction.
SCALAR Vector
time displacement
distance acceleration
speed Speed
DISTANCE: The total length covered by a moving object regardless of the direction of motion
SI Unit: meter (m)
DISPLACEMENT: distance measured in a straight line.
meter (m)

Speed ,Velocity and Acceleration
Speed: Distance moved per unit time
Speed= Distance travelled/ Time taken
the speed of an object at a particular instant is known as instantaneous speed
Velocity: rate of change of displacement
Velocity= displacement/time taken
