Is a person who has a lot of followers on apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. And they can influence people and promote services and brands.

Some of the most famous social media influencers are Cameron Dallas, Logan Paul, Lele Pons, Felix Kjellberg (aka PewDiePie), Huda Kattan, etc.

Advantages:

Everyone can be a social media influencer, the only things you need are internet, a computer or celphone, dedication and constancy.

Another good point is that if a company want you to promote their brands you will earn money or products from the company.

Also, you can share good messages in the society becouse you have an audience which will listen to whathever you say.

And finally, being a social media influencer can give you the chance to meet other famous people.

Disadvantages:

Sometimes influencers don't informed themselves so well when they are going to talk about some topic, so they misinform most of their audience that belives in everything they said.

Another disadvantage is that sometimes influencers are in the eye of the storm for hackers who wants to enter in their account to cause damage or cheat people.

A bad point is that some people disparage what influencers do becouse they didn't need to do a long career to get this job.
