1. the iron age started in 1400 BC

   • the Celts arrived in Ireland in 500 BC
     • archaeologists discovered about the Hallsatt in Austria
       • and they also discovered the La Téne
         • the la Téne is a sheald from Switzerland carved with swearls,spirals and circles
           • then in the 15th century Christianity came along
             • all the Celts that were in Ireland and all the other countries became Christian
               • then they decided to bring in the Brehon Laws
                 • after that people started to story tell and bring in Celtic traditions
                   • 8th century came along and the monks started to make up better versions of the Celtic stories
                     • Annals kept records of events that took place in Ireland were kept as valuble information
                     • an example would be the book of Celts
