1. Comparatives

   • Short adjetive
     • For most adjectives with a syllable (short adjectives), we add the ending "-er" Long / Longer
     • For short adjectives ending in "-e", just add "-r"Wide / Wider
     • For short adjectives ending in a vowel and a consonant, double-consonant and add "-er" Fat / Fatter
     • For short adjectives ending in "-y", change the "y" to "i" and add the ending "-er": dry / drier
   • Long adjetive
     • Long adjectives For many adjectives with 2 or more syllables, we use "more" plus the original adjective. Expensive / More expensive

2. Superlative

   • Short adjettive
     • For most adjectives with a syllable (short adjectives), we add the ending "-est" Long / longest
     • For short adjectives ending in "-e", just add "-st": wide / widest
     • For short adjectives ending in a vowel and a consonant, make a double consonant and add "-est". fat / fattest
     • For short adjectives ending in "-y", change the "y" to "i" and add the ending "-est" .dry / driest
   • Long adjetive
     • For many adjectives with 2 or more syllables, we use "most" plus the original adjective: Ex: expensive / most expensive
