1. Brute force attack

   • Gaining unauthorised access to a network by using a computer program to try all possible password combinations until the correct password is found

2. Spyware

   • Records the activity on your device which means they can have access to your passwords and control your webcam and microphone

3. DDos

   • When a device gets lots of request from different sources so that it can't just block a singe IP address

4. Phishing

   • Normally emails or text messages that seem legit so that users believe it and end up giving personal information

5. Virus

   • They put themselves into normal programs and can replicate from one computer to another

6. Worm

   • Similar to viruses but they don't need people to help them so they spread automatically

7. Trojan horse

   • Gains access to a computer by pretending to be a legitimate software.
