       • Objective lenses: magnification.
         • Stage: to place the slide on.
           • Arm: helps carry the microscope easily.
             • Iris diaphragm: to control the amount of light.
               • Clips: to hold the slide in place.
                 • Fine focus: to precisely focus the image.
                   • Coarse focus: to focus the image.
                     • Light: to supply light to the object.
