1. What is transactional data?

   • A transaction is every time you buy or sell something. Transactional data is the information that is stored about a sale or purchase.

2. Commercial value of transactional data

   • Remembers what you what you've bought
     • This will then allow it to suggest what you might also like to buy
   • Allows delivery orders to be tracked
     • So customers can see where there order is and how long it might take to arrive
   • Contains information about customer shopping habits and preferences
     • This allows them to have an idea of what you might look at.
