A conic section is the intersection of a plane and a cone.
Ellipse: is a curve in a plane surrounding two focal points such that the sum of the distances to the two focal points is constant for every point on the curve.
Hyperbola: a symmetrical open curve formed by the intersection of a circular cone with a plane at a smaller angle with its axis than the side of the cone.
Circle: It is the set of all points in a plane.
Parabola: a symmetrical open plane curve formed by the intersection of a cone with a plane parallel to its side.
