     • The materials that we use depend on the functions that an object must perform

       • A technical drawing can transmit the idea for an object in a very precise and descriptive way.

       • The internet is also a universal tool for researching and communicating ideas.

       • These skills include the use of various tools and the procedures for processing materials and assembly line systems.

       • These factors are crucial for technological advances.We must consider the cost of materials,the cost of production,the demand for the products and the buying power and potential customers.

3. Phases of the technological process.

   • 1-Needs:formulating a project.
     • Projects are often defined by a tender document which specifies how the task must be completed.
   • 2-Previous solutions and individual proporsals.
     • The sketches should expressthe idea clearly,so that other people can understand then.They should also contain information about the size of the object,it´s function,its parts,the posible challenges involve in building it.
   • 3-Group discusion and selection of a solution.
     • The solution should be a combination of a variety of factors:originality,reliability,funtionality,aesthetics and ease of construction.
     • The Strategic Alternative Matrix(SAM) offers a mathematical solution which can guide you through the desicion-making process.
   • 4-Development of a group solution
     • Technical drawings.
     • Progress status sheet
     • Measurements and budget.
   • 5-Construction
     • During construction,unexpected problems may arise.We should keep a record of these problems in an incident report sheet.
   • 6-Verification,presentation and evaluation.
     • Once the object has been build,we must analyse the results critically.We should check that everything works properly and evaluate any aspects that could be improve.
   • 7-Marketing.
     • Is a combination of activities that a company uses to sell or trade its product.By doing this,a company can recovered its initial investment and even earn a profit.
     • Marketing plan.
       • Price.
       • Dristibution.
       • Advertising.
