   • A curve where any point is at an equal distance from the focus and the directrix (fixed straight line)

   • where the sharpest point of the parabola turns

3. What is a parabola's axis of symmetry?

   • A vertical line which divides the parabola in half and it always passes through the vertex.

4. What is the equation of a parabola?

   • y = ax2 + bx + c is the general formula for a parabola
