1. VIRUS

   • This program installs itsef on the computer without consent to cause harm

2. KEYLOGGER

   • this is a software which tries to memorise keystrokes . Used for remote spying

3. WORM

   • This malware attempts to flood the system memory

4. SPYWARE

   • KINDS
     • ADWARE
       • These are ads included in programs after installation. They can act as spyware to get info not always used maliciously.
     • HIJACKERS
       • This program hijacks other programs to use their rights or change it´s behaviour.
     • TROJAN
       • With the purpose of getting info or destroying it, it contains instructions camouflaged in another program
   • Not all are malware
