1. In English the present simple is the present tense. This is used to talk about things, daily habits or activities that are usually done every day and are always true. With I, You and We the lexical base o vf theerb is used, and with He and She the lexema -s is added.

2. Ejemplos pt. 1: * Hábitos y Rutinas: - She walks the dog every morning. -We watch television regularly. * Eventos Programados: -Her mom comes on Wednesday. -We eat lunch tomorrow at 2PM.

   • Ejemplos pt. 2: * Instrucciones o Indicaciones: -Take the shoelaces and tie them neatly. -You go into the pool and hold your breath for 15 seconds. * Eventos y Acciones Repetidos: -The kitty cleans itself every 2 minutes. -The waterfall freezes every December and unfreezes every February

3. Formación Interrogativa: uso del verbo 'To Drink': Do I drink? | ¿Bebo yo? Do you drink? | ¿Bebes tú? Does He/She drink? | ¿Bebe él/ella? Do we drink? | ¿Bebemos nosotros? Do you drink? | ¿Bebéis vosotros? Do they drink? | ¿Beben ellos?

   • Formación Negativa y Formación de la 3era Persona uso del verbo 'Play': I don't play | Yo no juego You don't play | Tu no juegas He doesn't play | Él no juega She doesn't play | Ella no juega It doesn't play | No juega We don't play | Nosotros no jugamos You don't play | ustedes no juegan They don't play | Ellos no juegan Como regla general, hemos dicho que la 3ª persona del singular en presente simple lleva una -s final. Pero hay excepciones según el verbo termine en -y, -o, -ch, -sh, -ss, -x. 1 Si el verbo acaba en -y precedida de una consonante, se cambia la -y por -ies. To cry|She cries|Ella llora To study|He studies|Él estudia To fly|It flies|Vuela 2 Si la terminación -y va precedida de una vocal, como hemos visto antes como el verbo "to play", sólo se le añadirá una -s. He plays (él estudia). 3 Si el verbo acaba en -o precedida de una consonante, se añadirá -es. To do|He does|Él hace To go|She goes|Ella va 4 Si el verbo acaba en -ch, -sh, -ss, -x, se añade -es.
