methodological Approach
  1. introduction

    Annotations:

    •  Methodology describes the reasons underlying the choice and use of specific methods in the research process (i.e., how you may go about gaining the knowledge you desire). If you assume that the social world can be objectively observed from outside, you will adopt a methodology that focuses on an examination of relationships, but if you assume that the social world can only be understood by obtain-ing first-hand knowledge of the persons under investigation, you will opt for a methodology that focuses on individuals' interpre-tions of the world as they experience it.
    1. types of research
      1. Inductive Method:

        Annotations:

        • Part of particular phenomena to reach generalizations. This refers to moving from the results obtained from observation and experimentation with particular elements to the formulation of hypotheses, principles and laws of a general nature.
        1. Deductive Method:

          Annotations:

          • Part of general phenomena to reach a particular one. This refers to the application of principles, theories and laws to particular cases.
          1. Analytical Method:

            Annotations:

            • Study the parts that make up a whole, establishing their relations of cusa, nature and effect, goes from the concrete to the abstract.
            1. Synthetic Method:

              Annotations:

              • Study the relationships established by the parties to rebuild a whole or unit, from the recognition and understanding of these relationships from the perspective of totality, goes from the abstract to the concrete.
            2. phases of the methodology
              1. Descriptive Research:

                Annotations:

                • Refers or narrates characteristics and properties of an object, subject or specific situation, without using value judgments and in pursuit of high levels of objectivity.
                1. Explanatory Research

                  Annotations:

                  • They are oriented to respond to the causes of events and situations of social or physical type explaining why it occurs and the conditions in which it occurs.
                  1. Correlational Research:

                    Annotations:

                    • Although studying the cause - effect relationships does not maintain rigorous control of all the factors involved in the experiment.
                    1. Exploratory Research:

                      Annotations:

                      • As the name implies, it seeks to examine an issue that has not been studied or that has been studied very little in order to expand the information on the subject, and to have a broader picture of the situation allowing to determine more clearly subsequent investigations.
