1. Unions V. Tech

   • Manpower. Police are worried this technology will take their jobs because they dont have to be manned with the type of 4IR tech. Also officres will need to be trained on all this new software
   • Community relations do not differ as much as relations within the police dept in this matter. This issue is more about the officers jobs rather than the community
   • Structure: Though officers in the union think that this would force lay offs and less jobs it actually broadens the structure of the police dept as they will have whole units working on the new 4IR software

2. Over Use of survailence

   • Manpower. Again, with this type of technolgy with the 4IR police will now have to hire and train those officers specificly on this type of technolgy.
   • Structure: The structure of the police dept will now have tech like teams and units to run these type of surailence over the community. These AI cameras will alert the police if something is wrong.
   • Comunity Relations: With new 4IR survailence technolgoy this can swing the community 2 ways. They could either A. like the extra survailence and feel more safe or B. feel like they have no privacy what so ever within the community.

3. Potential for Hackers within 4IR

   • Manpower: new technology calls for new firewalls so hackers cannot invade the police system. This again calls for more police officers to to be tech savy within the department.
   • Structure: The structure of the police department would have officers who are trained to combat hackers. Also, officers will be trained to fix any problems when it comes to being hacked at a fast pace so the police departments systems ccan get back up and running.
   • Community: The community should have trust in the police department when it comes to stoppong hackers in the police system. However, the community did find out about something like this that would cause a huge lack of trust. Also, the community could be worried due to the hackers recieveing there information through the police database.

4. Algorithem to Predict Crimes

   • Strcuture: The structure for the police dept will not change but be more ahead of the crime on the streets when it comes to using algorthems to predict the crimes.
   • Community: When it comes to community relations in this type of approach i think the majority of the community will like it. However, all criminals arent dumb. I think they will soon findout the pattern with the police approach and aroach crime a different way.
   • ManPower: For an approach such as this youll need to hire smart officers plain and simple. Also, well paid officers. These offivers need to be smart enough to gain the trust of the whole department as well as the community. if there predictions fail then the police department as a whole fails.

5. I.C.E and approach with Police Enforcement and Removal Operations

   • Manpower: The Police Department especially on broder states need to man a ERO unit to work with ICE as well as savy officers who can work with EIS and biometric database. All Officers will also be trained on this
   • Structure: the Structure within the police department would have its own ERO units who specialize in this type of work as well EIS and biometric databases
   • Community relations: This approach will obviously get those who are not here legally angry at the police because now we have more accurate technolgoy to see who belongs and who does not. I think the ones who belong in the community however will like this approach when it comes to finiding illegals within the community
