Cameron's conservatives

Cameron's conservatives

1. Government should do less. Britain is over governed and the people should be given greater freedoms.

2. Taxation should be as low as possible for all levels of income and businesses. However, Labour's levels of public spending must be maintained.

3. A strong commitment to law and order but also a recognition of the social causes of crime. Primarily the impact of family breakdown. This formed the basis of the 'hug a hoodie' campaign.

4. Greater choice for the public in health and education. This will create competition between institutions which will drive up standards.
