then using that information to access the systrem.
- direct attacks: this may involve exploiting a server vulnerability to gain
access and/or attacking password hashes with dictionarty or brute force
methods to reveal passwords whick give access to the sysyem
- precautions to take: use strong long passwords which resist
dictionary and brute force cracking
