Training Processes Affecting Girls' Education   In Turkey, girls and boys in terms of access to schools in all levels of education since the early years of the Republic have equal status before the law. Basic education (primary education) is a compulsory right. The continuation of the education levels following primary education is left to the wish of the student and his / her family. In practice, however, this egalitarian behavior against girls and boys creates a situation in favor of men in situations where there is no in positive discrimination gel at the level that can balance the negative forces that are effective at every stage of education. In cases of preference, especially in cases where there is a need to choose between children with different sexes, it is noteworthy that boys are enrolled in school rather than girls. Traditional ways of keeping girls from enrolling in school, or not attending school a few years after enrollment, still continue in low-income groups and / or in rural areas.   Gender discrimination is also frequently observed in education processes. The social environment, the forms of socialization, and the training of the teachers in general prevent them from questioning what is traditional. Researches show that teachers ignore the question of whether their schools are male-dominated; therefore, it shows that they do not pay attention to the sexist approaches, the conservative and even the sex content of the textbooks. Teachers' failure to recognize, question, and disregard gender discrimination can be described as an indication of their internalization of traditional gender roles.   An important element of the processes related to girls' education is the gender differences observed among school workers. Only 3% of school principals in primary education are women. The ratio of female teachers is 44% in primary education and 39% in high school. Gender difference is increasing in universities. The fact that males focus on mesaj important inin subjects such as mathematics and physics at higher levels of education and women teachers teach lower classes and literacy courses reinforce the message that the upper level of science is "male domain fizik.
