Ch 5 Spanning Tree Protocol Concept
Background: Redundancy (in hierarchal design) eliminates single points of failure and preventing network services disruption. A.k.a Redundant Networks = require additional physical paths with logical redundancy in design. <- These cause Physical and Logical Layer 2 Loops = BAD. Ethernet requires LOOP FREEology w/ single path bet any 2 devices.
