- Paul and Corinth

Corinth was a commercial and merchant hub and was therefore also prone to corruption and sin.Tremendous need for the gospel and great place to start a church etc. (Ch.1v11) "I have been informed there are quarrels amongst you" (Ch.1v2)

- The Value of the Corinthian Letters

How the church must respond and bring the church back to the teachings of Jesus and the mission to which God has called us in which the churches identity is founded. 2 Corinthians deals with the authority of Paul.

-The Purpose of 1 Corinthians

(Ch.1v10) "i'm writing this letter that you find unity as the body of Christ"
