Arithmetic and order of operations quizzes

These quizzes offer different ways to practise calculations. Basic Multiplication and Division includes straightforward calculations as well as questions with more than one operation. Division uses sharing problems, while Non-Calculator Maths Quiz includes a question about money left after shopping.

Choose a starting point

Start with Basic Multiplication and Division if you want to work on individual calculations. For practice applying calculations to a situation, try Two-Step Word Problems. The BODMAS/BIDMAS Warm up maths quiz asks what the letters stand for and checks statements about the order of operations.

After taking a quiz, look again at any questions you found difficult. You can then choose another quiz on a similar topic. If you want to review a rule before practising again, switch to a mind map or flashcards on the unit page. Choose a topic and see which quiz suits you.
