About budgeting flashcards

Choosing budgeting flashcards

Start with Budgeting for questions about why organisations use budgets and the steps in the budgeting and control process. It is a useful starting point if you want to practise explaining the purpose of a budget before moving to more specific topics.

For cash flow, try Cash Budgets. Its questions cover the sections and features of a cash budget, as well as the difference between profit and cash flow. A business case study deck also asks about the benefits and limitations of cash flow forecasting.

Revise by topic

Use the cards to test your recall before checking each answer. Return to questions you find difficult, then compare related terms. For example, a chapter on advanced cost includes flexible budgets and activity, revenue and spending variances. The collection also includes Flexed Budgets and Production Budget.

When you want a different way to review a topic, switch to a map or quiz on the unit page. Choose a deck and start with the questions that match your current work.
