About colour theory flashcards

GoConqr Original

Using colour theory flashcards

Start with Color Theory if you want to practise the names for a colour, its strength and how light or dark it is. Its fill-in-the-blank prompts let you check whether you can recall the terms without looking.

For a closer look at colour properties, Colour properties includes cards on saturation and value. Color Composition asks about colour schemes, while the deck on oil paint yellows asks whether particular colours lean green or orange. Colour coding includes questions about colour in film and colour order systems.

Build a revision routine

Work through a deck and note the prompts you find difficult. Return to those cards later and try to answer in your own words before checking the explanation. If you want to see ideas arranged visually, switch to a mind map on the unit page; use a quiz there when you want another way to test your recall.

Pick a set of cards and give it a try.
