About renewable energy mind maps

GoConqr Original

Using renewable energy mind maps

Start with Renewables if you want to see several sources on one map. It includes solar and biomass, so you can follow the branches before choosing a source to study in more detail.

For a narrower topic, try Biofuels, which groups fuels by generation, or Biomass, which has branches for how it works, examples, advantages and disadvantages. Wind Power looks at how output varies with wind speed.

Move between formats

As you read a map, cover a branch and see whether you can recall its main points. Then uncover it and check what you missed. You could also compare the branches on two sources to organise your notes for a lesson or revision session.

When you want to check your recall in a different way, switch to a quiz on the Renewable Energy unit page. Flashcards and notes are there too if you prefer a shorter prompt or written explanation. Choose a map and follow a branch that interests you.

Frequently asked questions

Which mind map should I start with?

What do the mind maps cover?

The maps cover sources including solar, wind, biomass and biofuels. Some bring several sources together, while others focus on one topic. Biofuels groups fuels by generation, and Biomass includes examples as well as advantages and disadvantages.

Are these mind maps free to use?

Yes. Every mind map listed here is free to open and study, with no account needed. The resources were made by GoConqr users rather than by GoConqr. A free account also lets you make your own mind maps and other study resources, and save quiz scores.
