About sequences and series flashcards

GoConqr Original

Using sequences and series flashcards

Start with Patterns if you want to practise recognising number patterns. Its questions include square numbers and the Fibonacci sequence. For practice finding rules, Sequences (nth term) asks you to work out the nth term of several lists.

For arithmetic work, Arithmetic Sequences and Series includes cards on common differences and finding terms. Another deck asks you to calculate sums and insert geometric means. Further topics include convergence, the ratio test and power series.

Plan a revision session

Choose a deck that matches your current topic. Try each question before checking its answer, and return to cards you find difficult. If you want to see how ideas connect, switch to a mind map on the unit page. When you are ready to check your understanding with different questions, try a quiz there.

Pick a set of cards and work through it at your own pace.

Frequently asked questions

Which flashcards should I start with?

Try Patterns if you are practising how to recognise number patterns. If you are already working on position-to-term rules, Sequences (nth term) gives you lists to practise with. For arithmetic sequences, Arithmetic Sequences and Series includes questions about common differences and finding terms.

What topics do the flashcards cover?

The decks include number patterns, nth terms, arithmetic sequences, geometric progressions and sums. There are also flashcards on convergence, the ratio test and power series. You can choose a deck that matches the topic you are studying rather than working through the whole page.

Are these flashcards free to use?

Yes. Every resource listed here is free to open and study without an account. The flashcards were made by GoConqr users. A free account also lets you make your own flashcards, quizzes, mind maps and notes, and save your quiz scores.
