Long Term Causes (LTC):Nationalism - pride for one's country while showing disdain or hate for other countries. Nationalists believe their way of doing things is the best and prove it by defeating rivals.Militarism - the practice of building up military capabilities in order to prepare for war.Imperialism - a policy of extending a country's power and influence through colonization, use of military force, or other means.
