The Order of Events for Thomas Beckets Death

1. Becket becomes Archbishop of Cantebury

2. Henry wants monks and priests to be tried in court

3. Becket changes and becomes holy, he doesn't take instructions from Henry

4. The quarrel becomes so bad that Becket runs away to France.

5. Henry and Becket patch up their quarrel.

6. Becket returns from France to Cantebury

7. Becket excommunicates Henry supporters.

8. Henry loses his temper and four knights leave to find Becket
