what is the central executive? the co-ordinator of the 3 subsystems activities in the memory.
what is the phonological loop? a component which processes information in terms of sound.
what is the visuo-spatial sketchpad? a component which processes visual and spatial information in a mental space known as our inner eye.
what is the episodic buffer? integrates and manipulates material in working memory.
what's a weakness of the model? it only focuses on the STM
what is the role of the primary acoustic store? to retain acoustic info for a short period of time.
