- 1What does "usability" refer to?Usability is a quality attribute that assesses how easy user interfaces are to use.
Usability is defined by 5 quality components:
Learnability: How easy is it for users to accomplish basic tasks the first time they encounter the design?
Efficiency: Once users have learned the design, how quickly can they perform tasks?
Memorability: When users return to the design after a period of not using it, how easily can they reestablish proficiency?
Errors: How many errors do users make, how severe are these errors, and how easily can they recover from the errors?

Forced continuity - 10Forced continuityWhen your free trial with a service comes to an end and your credit card silently starts getting charged without any warning.
- 11Friends spamThe product asks for your email or social media permissions under the pretence it will be used for a desirable outcome (e.g. finding friends), but then spams all your contacts in a message that claims to be from you.
- 12Hidden costsYou get to the last step of the checkout process, only to discover some unexpected charges have appeared, e.g. delivery charges, tax, etc.
