Exessive salery Earning a large amount of money for the job, AKA "Fat cat" salary. For example: Footballers earning £100-£150,000 a week!
Minimum wage Main reasons -So its is fair on everyone -So people are able to live eg. eat and drink
Minimum wage Amounts 21+ year olds-£6.50 per week 18 under £3.79 per week
Whats wrong with excessive salery -Not fair, eg. People risk lives during jobs, (Firefighter) and don't earn half the money as some others, (Footballers)
No one should earn to much money FOR -Docters do a great job and don't get paid much -Irrisponsible spending (Greed) -'Root of money is evil' No one should earn to much money AGAINST -Work hard=deserve lots -Okay if it used for good --Okay if it earnt lawfully

Climate Many countries suffering poverty are situated near the equator; Africa, Central + South America, India, Middle East and South + East Asia. Many countries go months with no rain or too much rain it floods
Corruption In many LEDCs one of the key issues is corruption. This is firstly at government level. Usually the government has not been democratically elected by the people of the country. It has come to power through force or civil war and is kept in power by the support of the army
Natural disasters Environmental experts say that through global warming and pollution, humans are having an impact on nature itself. Floods in particular are a real problem, Usually resulting in thousands of deaths
War War is a major contributory factor to poverty. In many LEDCs even if we just focus on the last 30-40 years, there have been unstable governments infighting, causing interval civil wars and wars between poor countries (Destroying; schools, hospitals...)
Debt Many LEDCs have to borrow money from banks or the world bank. This money allows them to start developing. However the interest has to be paid and is very high and quite often higher in foreign countries
