physical development	Gross motor skills is about large movement of limbs [ arms and legs] for example -running , throwing and riding a bike.this includes balance and coordination. Fine motor skills is about the fine manipulative movements of hands ,fingers and toes.it is about develop hand eye coordination .this vis when the eyes and hand work togther for example threading beads or swing.
cognitive development	This is about how children increase their knowledge and understanding of their environment. it involves imagination , problem solving and memory.
Communication and language	It is about developing speech and understanding what other say. it is also about reading , writing and listening.
Emotional and behavioral development	Is about how children develop feeling and express their emotion through behaviour.it also includes development of self concept and self esteem.
Social development	It is also about learning to cooperate with others and learn by watching and copying role models.Is about relationship and how children develop friendship.
