- 1Th 1Produce (Y-IFN-7) gamma interferon-7, provides activation of macrophages and stimulates B cells and IgG to remove intracellular microorganisms
- 2Th 2Produce IL-4 (stimulates IgE), IL-5 (activates eosinophils), IL-13 (stimulates mucous secretion and initiates tissue macrophages for repair). Functions to remove helminthic parasites and stimulate allergies.
- 3Th 17Produce IL-17 which recruits neutrophils and promotes inflammation to remove extracellular bacteria and fungus.
