Jekyll & Hyde - Chapter 2

1. Mr Utterson goes home

   • He reads Dr Jekylls will and finds that all of his possestions will be passed onto Mr Hyde
     • Mr Utterson suspects something of this
     • He goes to visit Dr Layton
       • Dr Layton
         • "Hearty, healthy, dapper, red-faced gentelman
         • Very welcoming
         • Described as theatrical
         • Layton and Dr. Jekyll had an argument about science
         • "Unscientific boulderdash"
       • Jekyll, Layton and Utterson were once good friends
       • Layton doesn't know of Mr Hyde

2. Utterson goes home after seeing Layton

   • He dreams of Mr Hyde
     • He speculates about Hyde blackmailing Dr Jekyll

3. Utterson stalks the door where Mr Hyde lives

   • He finally meet Mr Hyde and is repulsed by him
     • Mr Hyde
       • "The man seemed hardly human"
       • "Satans signature upon a face"

4. Utterson goes to Jekylls house

   • Jekyll is not in but Poole, his butler, is
     • He finds out that Hyde has a key and Jekylls sevents have orders to obey Hyde
