     • RAM is volatile memory which stores programs and data currently in use then the operating system on the tablet is stored in RAM . The CPU is responsible for fetching instructions from RAM then decode and execute the instructions from RAM.

   • what is cache memory? what is the purpose of cache memory how does it improve performance?
     • cache memory is memory that is faster than RAM and its purpose is to improve the fetch decode and execute cycle by speeding up the clock speed this helps performance by the CPU being able to process things quicker
