1. Creation of passwords

   • Complexity is increased by: greater password length, the combination of upper and lower case letters, the use of numbers punctuation and other symbolls
   • Passwords should not include words found in the dictionary and names
   • Use initial letters from a memorable phrase, mixing of uppercase letters and numbers

   • Weak e.g. 123456 or PASSWORD
     • An obvious password using either standard letters or numbers often personal to the user
