1. They are sets of instructions e.g. making toast

2. Pseudocode or flowchart

   • Pseudocode is a mix of english and code with no spesific syntax
     • To make toast 1PUT bread in toaster 1PRESS lever down so toaster is on 3WHILE bread is not toasted 4WAIT for bread to turn golden brown 5POP toast up 5PUT toast on plate 5SPREAD butter onto toast
   • A flowchart is a visual diagram of an algorythm

3. Sorting

   • Bucket
     • Sorts data into groups e.g. 1-5 and 6-10
   • Bubble
     • Compares data side by side and puts them in order, Alphabetical or numerical
