1. Viruses

   • A piece of code capable to copy itself and has a big effect, such as corrupting the system

2. Worms

   • Worms are the same as viruses but they can move on their own

3. Trojans

   • A bad computer file that disguises itself and they hurt the computer, it opens vulnerabilities

4. Bot armies

   • Bots that take control of your machine. Its a small piece of software that does this

5. Keystroke loggers

   • Hardware device that reads what you type

6. Spyware

   • Type of virus to steal information about what you do on your computer

7. Adware

   • Software that automatically displays (often unwanted) when a user is online

8. Scareware

   • It makes you click on a pop-up that sells a virus scanner. Then when you buy it they steal your credit card details

9. Ransomware

   • It locks your screen until you pay money to get rid of encripted files
