   • To summarize is to contreact ther main message or central point . And it doesn't include supporting evidence or details.
   • To synthetize, apply strategies, compare ideas in sources, contrast ideas in sources.

3. Steps in the reading process

   • Reading for literal meaning
     • IIt is reading for comprehension, to deliver the main ideas, the central details of plot and character.
   • Reading to evaluate
     • This comes after the summary, analyze and synthesize the material.
   • Reading to draw inferences
     • It is to understand what's suggested or implied but not stated.
