       • they take/ encrypt all of the files they can from one server and demands payment to get it back.
     • botnet
       • when cybercriminals create a network of joined computers and uses them to send spam emails, phising attacks and other criminal activities it laso makes t harder for the police to track.
     • keylogger
       • is a system that records every thing that is typed on a keyboard and is sent to a cybercriminal who then searches throught it for valuable information like usernames, emails and passwords
   • phishing
     • when you are sent emails by people who have made up a fake sign in page like netflix and makes you sign in they then take your account and use it for themselves
   • hacking
     • gaining unauthorised access to computer date/ any information like emails, passwords and usernames that you shouldnt be able to access
