1. Family

   • Family for me is primarily my two children, daughter in law, five grandchildren, sister, and aunt. My mother, father, one brother, one nephew, and grandparents have passed. I also have dozens of other less frequently hugged relatives.

   • It has taken some painful life lessons to achieve alignment of my internal and external truths. To paraphrase Spencer Johnson's quote: integrity is my internal truth and honesty is being transparent about that truth with other people.

   • I found this term in Strengths Finder, which states that "in your soul you know that we are all connected." Yes! This belief is essential to my ability to accept people where they are, as they are.
