    • Mouse
      • A mouse inputs the motion of it onto the cursor on the screen.
    • Games controler
      • This input data eqivelent to the joysticks and buttons.
    • Remote
      • A remote is an input device because it puts the numbers onto the TV screen. This works by the TV being connected to the remote and the scanner at the end of it recognising the TV. Then it put the numbers that you have pressed into the screen.
    • Webcam
      • It sees pixels through its lens and puts them as a picture on either your screen or the person you are video calling.
    • Microphone
      • A microphone takes your voice and makes it louder by the data your voice is giving to it is flowing through the little computer inside the microphone then the sound comes out the other end.
    • Bar Code Scanner
      • A bar code scanner works by seeing the bar code on an item and the code goes into the scanner which shows how much the equivalent to the item seen.
    • Joy Stick
      • A Joy Stick is an input device because it puts your actions into the video game. It works by a motion censor being attached to the console. This means that your character can move equivalent to the censor on the stick.
  2. Output

    • Speakers
      • A speaker is an output device because it takes the music out of an iPod or phone and projects louder than it usually is.
    • Computer Monitor
      • A computer monitor is an output device because it takes the processed image form the computer and puts it onto the monitor/screen.
    • Headphones
      • Headphones are an output device because the music from the iPod or phone flows through the wires into the headphones.
    • Projector
      • A projector takes the image from the computer and puts it onto a wall or interactive whiteboard.
    • 3D printing
      • A 3D printer is an output device because it take an image and makes it by silicone coming out of it.

      • A printer is an output device because paper comes out of it and that means that it is putting things out of it.
    • Mobile Phone Screen.
      • A mobile phone screen is an output device because it takes date and it flows out onto the screen for people to see.

      • A mother board processes every single thing that you do in the computer or laptop.
    • Sky Box
      • A sky box processes all of the TV shows avalable on sky and puts them on to the TV screen
    • Games Console
      • A games console processes everything you do to a games controller. When you move the joystick on a Xbox controller your character moves. This works because your controller is connected to the console. The console processes where you have moved your joystick and makes your character do the very same thing on the screen.
    • Graphics Processing Unit
      • The Graphics Processing Unit works by taking all of the pixels in a game or TV show and puts them on the scree. For example graphics get better in games so the Graphics processing unit got a lot better.

      • A network card is a little card that you attach to the motherboard of your computer. What is does is processes the network closest to your area and makes you able to connect to a network.
    • Processor
      • A processor works by taking information through wires and scanners to put the data you have selected through your mouse onto the screen of your device.
    • Central Processing Unit
      • The Central Processing Unit works by being connected to all of the computers in the world and it works so fast because it is so up to date. When you press a button on your computer it goes through all of those wires in a huge building and it processes every single thing that you have ever done on your device.
  4. Storage

    • Memory Stick
      • A memory stick has a little bit of storage space on it but is is basically the same as a mini Hard Drive.
    • The Cloud
      • The cloud stores all of the data in the world on one big computer and I mean it is VERY big.

      • A Hard Drive stores data by having a lot of RAM inside the little box. This means that it can store a lot of items.
    • Disc

    • Memory Card
      • A memory card is the same as a memory stick and a hard drive just in a different form and less storage space.
