        2. PULPAL CELLS
          1. Odontoblasts containing polarised nucleus synthetic organelles, secretory granules
            1. Fibroblasts most numerous in cell rich zone
              1. Defence cells ie macrophages/lymphocytes
                1. Ectomesenchymal cells can form new cells for replacement and repair
              2. FIBRES OF PULP
                1. Collagen fibres make up34% of pulp proteins
                  1. TYPE I 60% + TYPE III 40%
                2. INNERVATION:plexus of Raschkow
                  1. blood supply is rich, terminating at sub odontoblastic terminal plexus
                    1. DENTINAL FLUID
                      1. Contains Glycoproteins,polysaccharides
                        1. Flows outwards into open tubules due to Interpulpal Pressure
