1. Fletcher

   • 4 working principles
     • Pragmatism - must be practiced
     • Relativism - no fixed rules
     • Positivism - Value judgment
     • Personalism - people centered
   • 6 Fundamental Principles
     • Love (agape) is the only absolute
     • This is self-giving love
     • Love and justice are the same
     • Love is not preferential
     • Love must be a final end - not a means
     • Love's decisions are dependent on the situation

2. Strengths of Fletcher

   • Flexible - less rigid than other theories
   • Multi-cultural
   • Practical - not too demanding

3. Weaknesses Of Fletcher

   • Can't know the consequence before an actions
   • Danger of unconditional love being polluted by selfishness
   • Could be used to justify all kinds of actions
