1. What does encryption do?

   • Encryption can change a message to a code which the other person will have the key to.
   • Hides private information from everyone except the person its suppose to go to

2. How do you encrypt a message?

   • You can encrypt a message by changing the alphabet to something completley different and change the letters according to that.

3. How do you decrypt a message?

   • You can decrypt a message by using a key like a password or code

4. When do we use encryption?

   • We use encryption when we are sending private information like bank details,names,adresses etc.

   • How does a firewall work?
     • A firewall protects your pc/laptop/computer from having any other connections coming into the network system.
   • why do we have firewalls
     • If someone trys to hack your computer they will have a lot harder time if your firewall is enabled
   • Firewalls are useful because...
     • Firewalls are useful because if it spots something suspicious it disconnects it or closes the connection.
   • Why do you need to control which programs can send and recieve data packets?
