     • Text based information. Creating documents and managing your business as it is easy to alter and therefore takes less time to use and is simple and not sophisticated.
   • Publisher
     • Text based. Best use for newspapers, articles, leaflets, etc. Huge variety of templates and functions make information easy to create yet functions are simple so only deal with text based presentations

2. Quantitative Data

   • Excel
     • Numerical and graphical data. Creating graphs and organising statistics. E.g. Salaries, wages, sales figures, etc. Great organisation, clear presentation allows it for perfect use for visual facts. Also has an innate checking ability in case any facts are incorrect results in safer & accurate use.

3. Both

   • Acccess
     • Best use for business work as Access is able to save and use all saved data. E.g. Importing and exporting, reports, etc. A variety of functions allow it for many business uses. Easy data managing means easier to find.
   • PowerPoint
     • Best use for presentations as slideshows can be used as resources and images for reference or justification(s). Variety of slideshows gives the user a neater or more professional presentation for show.
