1. Malware

   • if in use of web to 'surf the web' you are putting your computer at risk of the virus
     • made to infect computers
       • #malware can sneak in the program into unsecure pc's
         • Unsuspecting and unprotected pc's can also down load Trojans by acciodent.
           • The computer may crash or sponaniously reboot with no logical explanation.

2. Phishing

   • Phishing is used to trick people to give up their personal information by posing as a companie they use e.g banks and electrical companies
     • Its the fastest growing method used for stealing personal financial information and perpetrating identity theft
       • They send E-mails from respected companies that resemble well-known ,trusted institution.
         • This could lead to the leaking of bank details and the accessing a victim's account and the withdrawal of money or purchasing of merchandise or sevices.

3. BRUTE FORCE ATTACKS

   • A brute force attack is a trial and error method used by programs to decode data like passwords or (DES)
     • brute force is used instead of a itullectual stratergies.
