1. RAM stands for Random Access Memory.

2. ROM stands for Read Only Memory.

3. RAM is a temporary memory.

   • It can access without touching the preceding bytes.
   • Volatile.

4. ROM is permanent memory.

   • When data is added to a ROM chip it cannot be deleted.
   • Nonvolatile.
