Equivocators (technically...)

Lady Macbeth 🐍

Manipulator

Questions his masculinity- "are you a man?"

Adam and Eve -> downfall of humanity

Macbeth🔪

Gives in to temptation very easily

"We will proceed no further in this business" .... "I am settled" (changes from not wanting to murder Duncan to being set on it)

Malleable

Believes the equivocation

Banquo👑

IS tempted, but turns to God, and doesn't give it

Not trusting like his father

Dismissive of the child

"Plucked my nipple from his boneless gums and dashed his brains out"

Macbeth🔪

Has no children

If Macbeth had an heir, would he respect succession more?

Kills Macduff's children

"On which I must fall down or else o'er leap"

Banquo⚔️

Fleance is his legacy- becomes a king

"Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none"

There was a King Fleance later

Close relationship with Banquo, unlike Macduff

Macduff🗣️

Son is killed, he lost his legacy, so he has his revenge

Deserts his children

Macduff was not traditionally born, so becomes Macbeth's downfall

"Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripped", "what you egg"
