- 1What is Web Application?It is a version of a web page that has been optimized, usually by a development team, to be used from a mobile phone.
- 2Characteristics of a Web Application.Require an operating system of HTML5.
Applications do not need to be downloaded, they are hosted on a server and accessed from the browser.
They are very accessible from any browser.
Found in older browsers and on the app store. - 3How does a Web Application work?They are executed by means of a browser, they may contain elements that allow active communication between the user and the server.
Web applications are closely related to data storage in the cloud. - 4Types of apps that can be developed.+Web Mail: access systems that allow you to enter your email from the browser. example: Outlook, Gmail and etc.
+Wikis: They are websites and web applications with the facility to edit their content, modify it or delete it from the browser.
+Weblogs: They are easy to update sites and web applications and allow authors to increase content.
+Online Stores: It´s the commerce that they use as the main means to carry out transactions of a website or application. - 5Types of Web Applicatons.They will be classified depending on how they work in web apps.
Between 5 Applications: Static Web Application, Dynamics Web Application, Virual or Trade Store, Web Portal Apps and Web Application wiht Content Manager. - 6Static Web Application.This type of Web App shows very little information.
Generally they are developed in HTML and CCS, somewhere they can show objects in movements like Gifsy and they are also usually developed in jQuery and Ajax.
Modifying apps content is not easy, to do it you need to update and it depends on the webmaster or the creation company. - 7Dynamics Web Applications.They aremuch more complex at a technical level, it uses a database to load the information and each user enters it is updated.
The usually have an administrator to make changes. - 8Virtual or Trade Store.Development is more complicated because it must allow electronic payments.
Should have a control panel for the administrator, from which the products will be uploaded and updated and payments or orders can be managed. - 9Web Portal Apps.It´s a type of application in which the main page allows access to various devices, categories or sections.
Ejamples:
Forums, Chats, Emails, Search Engines and
Access Zones. - 10Web Application with Content Manager.In the case of this, the contents must be continuously updated, the best is to use a content manager (CCS). They are very intuitive and easy to manage.
Ejample:
Wodpress, Joomla and Drupal. - 11Advantage.Time Saving: simple to manage and allows you to perform tasks easier and without downloading.
Data Recovery: the user can retrieve their information from any device.
Compatibility wiht any Program: can be used on any mobile device or computer equipment, as they are valid for any operating system.
