- 1What is Abstraction?Classes defined as abstract can not be instantiated and any class containing at least one abstract method must be defined as such. Methods defined as abstract simply declare the method signature, but can not define the implementation.
- 2Aspects:-An abstract class can not be instantiated, we can not create objects from them.
- 3Aspects:-An abstract class can incorporate abstract methods. The abstract methods are those that only exist its declaration, leaving its implementation to the future classes extended or derived.
- 4Important:-All methods declared as abstract must necessarily belong to an abstract class. That is to say that a normal class can not define a method as abstract.
-An abstract class has the same structure as a normal class, it is only necessary to add the abstract keyword at the beginning of its declaration. - 5Description:In object-oriented programming, abstraction is one of three central principles (along with encapsulation and inheritance). Through the process of abstraction, a programmer hides all but the relevant data about an object in order to reduce complexity and increase efficiency.
